Back home...and the opportunity to show you my latest acquisitions : small everyday and quite simple objects, but that make me happy every time I use them.

Are you some kind of snail ? When you travel, do you always want to take your whole house with you ? I found the handbag you need, actually a basket! It’s from Sklum and no, it's not necessarily for a 7 year old girl !

Here is a small perfume house : Serge Lutens, who, apart from being a great perfumer, is always the big winner of the most beautiful packaging, imagined this perfume diffuser for the house which works on mains with cartridges. This kind of article is most of the time ugly and stinky. This one is just refined and chic. An ideal gift to change from the scented candle.

And talking about Sklum, I couldn’t resist showing you my new kitchen bin also found on this website. It’s so pretty that I took two of them, yes that’s how I sort things out ! And for the craziest among us, it also exists in sea green

I hesitated a long time !

When you think trash, obviously you think trash bags ! I tested the scented garbage bags, and I tell you straight up : forget it ! Well, no, let's say that I don't like it... I think it stinks (more than the bin, that's saying something !) On the other hand, I found coloured garbage bags, which are more handy and prettier ! Yes, I know, I have amazing concerns.

At Maison Empereur, an illustrious house that I particularly like as you know, I found a pretty little teaspoon. It's a small thing, of course, but it gives me a little happiness every time I use it and that's something ! Another find in this magnificent hardware store, the Chien knives that you won’t find anywhere else and that, in addition to being beautiful, have a whole history : they are legendary and it’s even said that all families should have one. This is why they’re considered the ultimate wedding gift. A sauce even takes its name from these knives : "la sauce chien", because the herbs that compose it must be cut with these famous blades. Now, that's journalism !!

Everything is pretty there!

It’s been a long time since I awarded this illustrious prize, namely the prize for the most beautiful packaging ! When I received this lovely box of Japanese cookies, it seemed obvious to me. It's simple, very poetic and sublime ! In addition, these are very old Japanese cookies, they have been around since 1890 ! They’re called Hato Sabure, (hato means dove in Japanese and sabure, shortbread). Of course, it's a bit complicated to find them in France...but I found the website entirely dedicated to them...… all you have to do is learn Japanese !

Unfortunately, winter isn’t over yet, so in my February box I thought a big, warm scarf would be useful. It’s in blue cashmere and comes from Alberto Cabale. I added a Celeste lip balm from Terre de Mars, cause in winter, we often have very dry lips. I packed everything in an Ines de la Fressange Paris tote bag that you will no doubt use to carry your potatoes and slices of raclette cheese, perhaps the last of the season ? Come on... tout de bon ! As they say among my Swiss friends !
